JoAn Vargas, LCSW, CADC

JoAn obtained her Bachelor's degree from Elmhurst University with a major in Psychology before going on to earn her Master of Social Work at University of Illinois Chicago with a concentration in Mental Health. JoAn is also a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) and Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). She brings over 5 years of therapy experience working with families as well as the active military and veteran population. Since August 2022, JoAn has been working on the Hamdard team in Bensenville to provide mental health support to those in need. When working with patients, her primary focus is to provide her clients with an open space in which they can express themselves without any prejudice or bias.
